Dr Tripathy discussed about the potential to link tourism and peace in the light of Sri Aurobindo. He suggested the promotion of intercultural harmony and understanding can be greatly aided by tourism. Peaceful environments between communities and cultures can be fostered through community engagement, global awareness programs, cross-cultural relationships, preservation of popular tourist locations, and the development of new cultural and tourist destinations.

Stressed the monetization of culture, the destruction of the environment, and even how these things might exacerbate conflicts in some areas. To fully realize tourism’s potential to promote peace, it must be managed sustainably and responsibly. Highlighted the plan for a peaceful Puducherry, which includes interdependence in the economy, community reform, sustainable tourism, and protection of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage
