International webinar on Salutohgenic Approach of Yoga Therapy Across Life Span

Dr Kishor Kumar Tripathy, Member Secretary, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society was invited to attend the International webinar on “Salutogenic Approach of Yoga Therapy Across the Life Span”, organized by Institute of Salutogenesis & Complementary Medicine (ISCM), SriBalaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry on 19th June, 2026. The webinar focused on the importance of Yoga Therapy in promoting health, well-being, resilience, and holistic living across different stages of life.
On this occasion, Dr. Balakrishna P. Shetty, Vice Chancellor, SBV. Prof. Dr. Ananda B. Bhavanani, Organising Chairperson and Director, ISCM, along with Prof. Dr. Meena Ramanathan, Organising Secretary and Principal, School of Yoga Therapy, ISCM, and eminent scholars, academicians, and yoga practitioners from national and international institutions shared their perspectives on the therapeutic, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of Yoga.
Eminent panellists deliberated on the “Role of Yoga in Community Wellness” and emphasized the relevance of Yoga in fostering sustainable health practices and social harmony. On this occasion, Dr Kishor Kumar Tripathy spoke about “Yoga as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity: Revitalizing Community Wellness Through Ancient Wisdom and Holistic Living.” The presentation emphasized the principles of Integral Yoga as envisioned by Maharshi Aurobindo and The Mother, focusing on its spiritual, philosophical, and intangible dimensions that contribute to holistic human development and inner transformation.
The webinar served as an enriching platform for intellectual exchange and brought together scholars and practitioners from diverse fields to strengthen awareness about Yoga as a holistic and sustainable way of life. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment towards promoting Yoga for individual well-being and community wellness.
