As part of the exhibition on ‘Spiritual Gift of India to the world’ organized on the occasion of
Commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo & 75th Year of India’s Independence, AuroBharati team, Dr. Kishor Kumar Tripathy and Charu Tripathy joined the celebration of Meri Maati Mera Desh. Shri K. Lakshminarayan, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Government of Puducherry also graced the occasion.
“Meri MaatiMeraDesh”, with the tagline `Mitti ko naman, veeron ka vandan`, is a nationwide and people led “Jan bhagidari” initiative to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence. It is the finale of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav programme.
The actions initiated under ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ 1) Dedication of Shilaphalakam-installation of nameplate of Veers. 2) Taking the PanchPran Pledge. 3) VasudhaVandan—creation of Amrit Vatika with 75 saplings of indigenous trees. 4) Veeron Ka Vandan- honoring freedom fighters/braves who protect the nation and families of braves and 5) Hoisting of National Flag and singing of National Anthem.
